BJP Criticizes Oppositions Rally with Thugs Poster Ahead of Delhi March

Ahead of the oppositions rally, BJP releases a poster labeling it a Thugs fair, targeting the oppositions agenda.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a fresh attack on the opposition ahead of a major rally scheduled for November 1 in New Delhi‘s Ramleela Maidan. The Delhi unit of the BJP shared a provocative poster on the social media platform X, targeting the opposition’s ‘Chalo Delhi’ march.

The poster claims that the event at Ramleela Maidan is a “Thugs’ fair,” alleging that it aims to spread misinformation and chaos in the country under the influence of anti-national forces. Accompanying images of key figures from the opposition’s India bloc, the poster also features a cockroach, symbolizing their disdain.

In bold letters, it reads, “Thugbandhan Film Presents – Thugs’ Fair. Directed by Rahul Gandhi, Produced by Akhilesh Yadav. Purpose: To spread rumors and chaos in the country.”

The opposition’s march, organized by the India bloc, is set to commence from the Minto Road and Connaught Place junction, culminating at Ramleela Maidan. The rally is a response to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, which the opposition is vehemently opposing. They are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, contend that voters’ rights are being undermined, prompting their ‘Save the Vote, Save the Country’ movement to protect democracy and the Constitution. Meanwhile, the BJP continues to characterize the rally as an attempt to incite unrest, while the opposition frames it as a vital fight for democratic integrity.
