BJP Criticizes Akhilesh Yadavs PDA Rath Yatra Campaign in Uttar Pradesh

Raebareli, September 24 (Daily Kiran) : The political landscape in Uttar Pradesh has intensified as the Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav launches his PDA Rath Yatra. This campaign has sparked controversy, particularly in Raebareli, where posters depicting Yadav as deities Lord Ram and Krishna have been erected.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Anil Rajbhar has openly criticized this move. He stated, “The SP must clarify to the public who they are referring to as PDA. To date, they have failed to define it. It seems they are merely trying to deceive the public with a change of appearance. However, the people know them well, and their strategy will not succeed in the 2027 assembly elections.”

Rajbhar further dismissed the significance of Yadav’s Rath Yatra, suggesting it is merely a tactic to pass the time as elections approach. “They are aware of the fate awaiting the Samajwadi Party, but this is just a diversion,” he added.

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal also weighed in on the controversy surrounding the posters. He remarked, “Those who questioned the existence of Lord Ram are now portraying themselves as his avatars. This is perhaps the most shameful act for any political party. Comparing Akhilesh Yadav to Ram and Hanuman is entirely inappropriate.”

Former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Vajpayee echoed these sentiments, criticizing the posters showing Yadav receiving blessings from deities. He stated, “The way PDA is changing its colors, so too is Akhilesh Yadav. This poster campaign is merely superficial. The people of Uttar Pradesh are aware of the deception being propagated under the guise of PDA. Simply placing images on posters does not make one a deity; genuine faith is necessary. Under Yogi’s leadership, the BJP is set to reclaim power in the state.”

As Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA Rath Yatra unfolds, the exchange of barbs between the ruling party and the opposition continues to escalate in Raebareli.
