New Delhi, May 4: BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh expressed confidence in the party’s victory in West Bengal while launching a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
Speaking to reporters, Vallabh stated, “Don’t worry, Didi. BJP candidates will lead TMC candidates by 50,000 votes. You will halt the recounting yourself. A significant number of women are blessing BJP candidates.”
He targeted the national president of the Aam Janata Upliftment Party (AJUP), Humayun Kabir, saying, “Humayun Kabir claims he is part of TMC’s ‘B team.’ During the elections, we said they were associated with TMC. Now, even Kabir admits it.”
Vallabh asserted that appeasement politics is on the verge of extinction and that the BJP is set to form the government in West Bengal.
He praised the Election Commission, stating, “This is a process of free and fair elections by the Election Commission. We welcome these efforts to strengthen democracy. On May 4, we will democratically establish our government in Bengal.”
In a jab at TMC, Vallabh remarked that their leaders talk of ten lifetimes, while the BJP has already formed a government. He claimed that an oath will be taken within the next one to two days.
Targeting opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Vallabh said, “Kharge is making statements while Telangana police are searching for an anchor in Delhi. Kharge ji, you may not even know that the Telangana government is looking for an anchor in Delhi while you speak of press freedom.”
