Patna, May 7: Bihar is set to witness a significant cabinet expansion on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in attendance. Several central ministers and key NDA leaders are also expected to join the event.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi stated on Wednesday that Prime Minister Modi and President Nitin Nabin will witness the cabinet expansion ceremony. Prominent leaders, including Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, will also participate. NDA leaders, such as Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi, along with all NDA MPs and central ministers from Bihar, will be present.
Sarawagi noted that there is immense enthusiasm among party leaders, workers, and the general public regarding PM Modi and Nitin Nabin’s visit to Bihar. This excitement reflects the party’s growing popularity and the public’s trust in its leadership.
The streets will be filled with supporters welcoming Prime Minister Modi and President Nabin. Extensive preparations are underway for the grand oath-taking ceremony.
Sanjay Sarawagi mentioned that the historic Gandhi Maidan is being beautifully decorated for the event. A large stage equipped with modern facilities is being constructed, and security personnel will be deployed at key locations to ensure smooth operations and avoid public inconvenience.

The arrival of prominent NDA leaders for the ceremony has already begun in Patna. BJP National General Secretary, Rajya Sabha MP, and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde has arrived in Patna, where he was welcomed at Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport.
He added that the entire city has been adorned with flags and banners from the airport to Gandhi Maidan in preparation for Prime Minister Modi and President Nabin’s arrival. Various arches have been constructed at different locations to welcome them. The final arrangements for the event are being coordinated with party representatives and the district administration.
