New Delhi, August 12: Bihar’s Minority Welfare Minister, Mo. Jama Khan, met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda on Wednesday. The meeting focused on Bihar’s development, public interest issues, and the state’s progress.
Minister Jama Khan emphasized the need for better coordination between the central and state governments to ensure comprehensive development in Bihar. He highlighted the necessity for central government support in the state’s development initiatives.
During the meeting, Jama Khan also raised the demand for a stop for the Capital Express at the Bhabua Road railway station. He pointed out that Bhabua Road is a significant railway hub, serving a large number of passengers daily. A stop for the Capital Express would greatly benefit local travelers, traders, and the general public.
He stated that this train stop would not only assist passengers but also accelerate the region’s economic and social development. Jama Khan urged the central government to take positive action regarding this request.
Meanwhile, on the same day, JD(U) MPs met with the party’s national president and former Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, at his government residence in Delhi. JD(U) National Executive President and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha was also present.
During the meeting, Nitish Kumar sought detailed information from the MPs about significant public interest issues and Bihar’s development topics being raised in the House. He also requested comprehensive feedback on the progress of development schemes in their parliamentary constituencies.
This meeting between JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar and the MPs is considered significant.
