Students aiming to become teachers must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: General, OBC, and EWS category candidates should have secured at least 50% marks. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, a 5% relaxation is provided, requiring a minimum of 45% marks.
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of January 1, 2026. There is no upper age limit specified.
Application Fee and Process
The online application window is open from January 10 to January 24, 2026.
The application fee is Rs 960 for General, EBC, BC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates have to pay Rs 760.
To apply, candidates should visit the official website bsebdeled.com, click on the ‘Registration 2026’ link, and create an account using their mobile number and email ID. They must upload required documents including a photograph, signature, and mark sheets, pay the exam fee online, and save a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
