Baba Ramdev Criticizes BJP Leader Brij Bhushan for Questioning His Credibility

New Delhi, August 23: Following BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s remarks, yoga guru Baba Ramdev has now targeted former MP and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Ramdev labeled Singh as a person with a narrow and low mindset. This response came after Singh questioned the credibility of the yoga guru and the products of Patanjali.

While speaking to the media in Karnal, Haryana, Baba Ramdev criticized Singh’s comments. He also advocated for reforms such as “One Nation, One Election,” educational reforms, and democratic methods of protest. When asked about Singh’s statements against him, Ramdev remarked that he had nothing to say about someone with such a low mindset. He stated, “What is Swami Ramdev’s contribution? What has he done for yoga, Ayurveda, and indigenous products? There is not a single question mark on Patanjali’s products in world-class labs. I have nothing to say about those with a narrow mindset.”

Brij Bhushan had claimed that no one believes Baba Ramdev and that his words are not taken seriously. He challenged Ramdev to demonstrate his movement’s capability if he intends to protest. Singh also accused Ramdev of conducting a business worth billions under the name of Patanjali and raised questions about the quality of its products.

He emphasized the need for changes in the country’s education system, advocating for “One Nation, One Education” and “One Nation, One Election.” He argued that much of the time of educators is consumed by elections. Additionally, he called for the inclusion of Indian culture in education.

Ramdev criticized the dominance of English in education and healthcare, stating that it should be replaced with the Indian knowledge system. He commented on the UGC and reservation movements, asserting that some individuals aim to seize power through chaos in the streets and parliament. He emphasized that democracy should prevail, and anyone aspiring to be Prime Minister should be elected by the public.

Regarding the Vande Mataram controversy, he noted that some people lack an understanding of Sanskrit and culture. He urged those individuals to gain knowledge about India, asserting that for him, Mother India is paramount.

Previously, Baba Ramdev had also criticized Kangana Ranaut’s “Generation Gutter” comment about Gen Z. He questioned her qualifications and upbringing, stating, “What is her qualification? What was her childhood like? To refer to any youth in such derogatory terms is a sign of a disturbed mind.”
