Anurag Thakur Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Job Promises to Himachal Youth

New Delhi, August 27: BJP MP Anurag Thakur expressed his views on various issues during a conversation with a news agency on Thursday.

Thakur stated that Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhu and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had promised to provide 500,000 jobs to the youth of the state. However, the current situation reveals that young people are facing unemployment, with no one addressing their plight. Before coming to power, the Sukhu government had promised that ₹1,500 would be credited to the accounts of women in the state. Four years have passed, yet this promise remains unfulfilled.

He criticized the current government for plunging Himachal Pradesh into a debt of ₹1.1 lakh crore. Currently, the per capita debt in the state is the highest in the country. Thakur remarked that Rahul Gandhi’s outdated model is now in effect in Himachal Pradesh, which the public is unwilling to accept. Development in the state has come to a standstill, with no progress on projects.

According to the BJP MP, the Congress government has depleted the state’s treasury. Sukhu is now allegedly trying to enrich himself by enticing the public with a lottery scheme, which he termed a significant betrayal of the people of Himachal Pradesh. Thakur stated that they oppose this lottery and will take to the streets in protest. He reminded Sukhu that previous governments had banned lotteries, including Virbhadra Singh, who had also spoken against them.

Thakur questioned the necessity of introducing a lottery in Himachal Pradesh and insisted that the current government must provide clear answers. He also highlighted the rapidly growing Indian economy, stating that it benefits the common people directly. Development-related projects are gaining momentum. Thakur urged Rahul Gandhi to stop lying and fulfill his promise of providing jobs to 500,000 people in Himachal Pradesh. He also demanded answers regarding the ₹1,500 promised to women and the pricing of essential commodities.

In conclusion, he asserted that the current government must clarify why the lottery is being introduced, emphasizing that they will not allow the youth of the state to be left in darkness.
