Mumbai, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Anjali Arora is set to take on the iconic role of Sita in the upcoming mythological film “Shri Ramayana Katha.” She believes that this opportunity is a blessing from Lord Ram and Hanuman.
In a recent conversation, Arora shared her routine of visiting a Hanuman temple every Tuesday to pray for what is rightfully hers. She recalled the moment when director Abhishek Singh approached her with the role, showing her an AI-generated image of herself as Sita.
“When the makers presented this role to me, they showed me an AI version of my photo, and I couldn’t help but laugh. I hardly recognized myself,” she said. Initially, she expressed doubt to the director, asking if he truly believed she could portray such a significant character. He reassured her, saying, “Yes, you can do it.”
After careful consideration, Arora agreed to the role, interpreting it as a divine blessing. “I thought that if this opportunity has come to me, maybe it’s a sign from above. I always pray for what is meant for me,” she explained.
Arora emphasized her commitment to embodying Sita with sincerity, dedicating herself to understanding the qualities associated with the character. “I have tried to portray every aspect of Sita Mata—her patience, sacrifice, and adherence to dharma. When audiences see my performance, they will be able to assess its quality. Every actor strives to give their best, and now it’s up to the audience to accept or reject it,” she remarked.
As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await to see how Anjali Arora brings the beloved character of Sita to life on screen.
