Anant Singh Focuses on Defeating Neeraj Kumar in Bihar Elections

Patna, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Political activity is heating up in Bihar as the elections for the Patna Graduate seat in the Legislative Council approach. JDU MLA Anant Singh is openly campaigning for Jan Suraj candidate Anuj Singh, while NDA leaders rally behind JDU nominee Neeraj Kumar.
During a media interaction on Tuesday, Anant Singh stated that his battle is not with any party but specifically against Neeraj Kumar, vowing to defeat him. Speaking on the occasion of Vijayadashami, Singh commented on Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary burning an effigy of Ravana at Gandhi Maidan, suggesting that such political theatrics are common across parties.
He extended his best wishes to the people of Bihar for Vijayadashami, encouraging everyone to pursue goodness and urging the youth to support their parents. According to Singh, those who care for their parents will thrive in life and be spared from hardships.
When asked about the NDA’s prospects of winning eight seats in the upcoming elections, Anant Singh replied, “We don’t know about that. What we do know is that our fight is against Neeraj, not any party. We will defeat him.”
He criticized Neeraj Kumar, expressing his hope that both the public and divine forces would help in overcoming such an arrogant individual. Singh accused Kumar of verbally attacking him for the past 18 years without cause and claimed that Kumar had suggested his name would elevate Kumar’s status as a leader.
When questioned about an FIR filed against him, Singh quipped that while only a few were aware of the matter before, it would soon be known to many. Regarding Neeraj Kumar’s recent hospitalization, Singh commented on Kumar’s frequent visits for check-ups, joking that he might be seen asking for votes just two hours later.
As the political landscape shifts in the Patna Graduate constituency, Anant Singh’s statements continue to draw attention amidst the ongoing campaigns for Neeraj Kumar and Anuj Singh.
