Congress Declares Historic Success of India Block Rally Against Modi Government

The Congress party hailed the India Block rally as a historic success, showcasing public anger against the Modi government.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The Congress party has labeled the recent mega rally held at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi as a historic success. Congress MP Kumari Selja emphasized that the event sent a strong message of unity among the opposition in the fight for democracy. Fellow Congress leader Madhu Gaud Yasky noted that the rally reflected widespread public discontent with alleged vote theft and the government’s rule.

Selja stated, “Today’s mega rally was very successful. You could see the crowd not just at the venue but throughout the city. There was immense enthusiasm among people who came from across the country. It’s also encouraging that our NDA allies participated, sending a powerful message that where there is opposition unity, we stand together in this fight for democracy.” Under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, this message has gained further strength.

Responding to Amit Shah‘s comments about a “shop of hatred,” Congress leaders asserted that the true perpetrators of hate are well-known. They attributed this to the BJP and RSS, accusing them of spreading division across the country.

Former Lok Sabha MP Madhu Gaud Yasky described the rally as not just large but a significant public gathering. He remarked that such a turnout could not have been organized by a single political party or leader, highlighting it as a spontaneous response from citizens across Delhi and the nation.

He further indicated that the public is fed up with the Modi government‘s rule and fraudulent electoral practices. “People have recognized the false promises made by the Modi government to gain and retain power. This marks the beginning of the end for the Modi administration,” he asserted.

Yasky criticized Shah’s attempts to provoke public sentiment, stating that emotional manipulation would not yield benefits. He referenced historical events following Indira Gandhi’s assassination, asserting that sufficient investigations have concluded that matter.

Congress leader Manikrao Thakre expressed that the rally was a resounding success. He noted the enthusiasm of the crowd and the impactful speeches by leaders of the India alliance, particularly highlighting Gandhi’s message of moving forward with love to protect the Constitution and democracy.

Thakre believed that Gandhi’s consistent messaging resonates deeply with the public, suggesting that future initiatives from Gandhi and the India alliance will be implemented on a large scale, supported robustly by all activists and leaders.

He also pointed out that the rally demonstrated a newfound strength that has unsettled Amit Shah. Prime Minister Modi’s recent comments indicate that the political narrative is increasingly revolving around Gandhi. Thakre concluded that it is now clear that accountability measures must be taken against those responsible for any wrongdoing.

This rally appears to have solidified the perception that the political discourse is now heavily influenced by Rahul Gandhi’s statements and strategies.
