New Delhi/Washington, 08 December 2025: Anant Ambani has been honoured with the prestigious Global Humanitarian Award in the United States for his outstanding contributions to wildlife conservation and animal welfare. He received the award for his leadership through ‘Vantara‘ in rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, and protecting animals.

With this achievement, Anant Ambani has set a unique record by becoming the youngest and the first Asian to receive this esteemed award. Earlier recipients include US Presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton, as well as several Hollywood celebrities and global leaders.

The recognition has once again brought the work of Vantara into the international spotlight. Vantara is now counted among the world’s most distinctive and large-scale wildlife conservation projects. It focuses on giving new life to injured, sick, and endangered animals, saving extinct species, and returning them safely to their natural habitats.

While receiving the award, Anant Ambani said, “This honour inspires me to move forward even more strongly on the path of ‘Sarvabhut Hit’—the welfare of all living beings. Animals teach us balance and sensitivity in life. Through Vantara, our aim is to provide every creature with respect, care, and a better life. For us, conservation is not a matter of the future but a responsibility for today.”

The event organiser, Global Human Society, praised Anant Ambani and Vantara, stating that Vantara is not just a rescue centre but a unique model that combines animal treatment, care, and conservation. It has demonstrated how large-scale help for animals can be provided, setting a benchmark for the world.

The international event saw the presence of many prominent names in wildlife conservation, including Dr. John Paul Rodriguez, Matthew James, William Street, Thomas Schmid, Dr. Michael Adkesson, and Kathleen Dudjinsky. From India, Dr. Neelam Khaire, Dr. V.B. Prakash, and Dr. K.K. Sharma also attended the programme.
