New Delhi, March 14: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Punjab on Saturday, where he will address a significant rally in Moga district. Before his arrival, he launched a sharp critique against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stating that law and order, as well as development, are absent in what he termed the “remote-controlled AAP government.”
In a post on the social media platform X, Shah remarked, “Every person in Punjab desires change. The sacred land of Punjab, known for its youth, farmers, and hardworking people, has been drowned in corruption, drugs, and crime under the AAP government. Law and order and development are missing in this remote-controlled administration.”
He expressed eagerness to engage with the people of Punjab during the “Badlav Rally” in Moga.
BJP leaders have emphasized that Shah’s address will focus on liberating Punjab from lawlessness, drug abuse, and unemployment, while steering it towards a new path of progress.
Extensive preparations are underway for Shah’s rally, which is seen as a crucial platform for presenting a vision of development, good governance, and a new political direction for Punjab.
On Friday, BJP workers conducted a ‘flag march’ through key markets in the Dhaka assembly constituency, spreading the message of change and development in the state. They encouraged the public to participate in large numbers at the rally in Killi Chhalan.
