Gandhinagar, April 28: The Indian National Congress (BJP) has maintained its stronghold in the Gujarat local body elections. The party has secured a decisive lead in municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayats, and taluka panchayats. Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the public and BJP workers for this achievement.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Amit Shah stated that the overwhelming mandate given to the BJP in Gujarat’s local self-government elections clearly indicates the unwavering trust the people have in the party for the state’s service and development.
He emphasized that for the past three decades, the people of Gujarat have consistently expressed their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the BJP’s development model, from local councils to Parliament. Shah extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Gujarat for their continued love and support.
He also congratulated Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, State President Jagdish Vishwakarma, and all dedicated workers who made this remarkable victory possible through their tireless efforts.
