Alakh Pandey Praises PM Modis Initiative for Free Online Coaching on Independence Day

New Delhi, August 15: On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced free online coaching for competitive exams. Alakh Pandey, the founder of Physics Wallah, expressed his unconditional support for this initiative. He emphasized that quality education should be accessible to every child in India at no cost.

In a post on the social media platform X, Pandey stated, “I appreciate the Prime Minister’s announcement of free online coaching for all needy students. I have always believed that online education is the only way to reach good education to remote towns and villages.”

He further added, “I want to see this implemented on the ground, as that is the most crucial part.” Tagging Prime Minister Modi and the BJP in his post, Pandey reiterated his support for the initiative, saying, “I give my unconditional support to the government for this initiative. I seek no benefits in return. Quality education should be free for every child in India.”

During his speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi highlighted the financial burden that coaching classes impose on middle-class families. He noted, “Every parent feels that if they do not send their child to coaching classes, they are not a respectable family. We are concerned about the expenses faced by poor and middle-class families, and therefore, we have decided to provide free online coaching for various exams to our youth.”

Modi also mentioned that with the existing digital public infrastructure, excellent talent, and teachers, a comprehensive network for providing free coaching to the nation’s youth will be established.
