Ajay Devgns Juhu Bungalow Faces Demolition for Illegal Construction

Ajay Devgns bungalow in Juhu was partially demolished by BMC for unauthorized construction despite a stop-work notice.

Mumbai, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : Ajay Devgn’s bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai, has faced partial demolition by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) due to illegal construction activities. Just days prior, the actor received a notice to halt unauthorized work on the property.

The sprawling 7,802-square-foot bungalow is situated in the Kapol Cooperative Housing Society on N.S. Road Number 11. According to BMC officials, several modifications were made without the necessary permissions, including internal alterations, partition walls, and changes to windows.

On September 10, 2026, the BMC issued a notice under Section 354A of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, instructing Devgn to cease all construction activities immediately and submit the required documents for approval.

Despite the notice, construction continued, prompting the BMC to take action by removing the unauthorized structures from the bungalow.

However, Devgn resides with his family in another bungalow named ‘Shivshakti’ in Juhu.

In other news, the actor’s crime thriller film “Drishyam 3” is performing exceptionally well at the box office, receiving positive feedback from audiences. The film had a historic opening day, featuring a stellar cast including Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Jaideep Ahlawat, among others. This installment marks the third and final chapter of the Drishyam franchise, focusing on the intense mind games between Vijay Salgaonkar’s family and the police.
