New Delhi, March 1: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Rai stated that the party is intensifying its efforts to fight for the rights of Delhi residents during a gathering at Jantar Mantar. He criticized the BJP government, claiming that the situation in Delhi has deteriorated significantly within a year.
In a conversation in New Delhi, Rai expressed that the entire city has been suffering for the past year. He mentioned that the court has cleared all leaders of any wrongdoing. “We will continue our honest politics and escalate our fight for Delhi’s rights,” he asserted.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj clarified that the event is a gathering, not a protest. He noted that the party’s National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, along with leaders from Goa and Gujarat, would share the stage. Bhardwaj accused the BJP and the Lieutenant Governor of dismissing thousands of youth from their jobs, stating, “They have falsely implicated people in cases.” Kejriwal is expected to address these issues.
Bhardwaj also highlighted that the government led by Rekha Gupta has laid off thousands of employees serving Delhi. “These individuals will ignite the flames of rebellion against Rekha Gupta’s regime,” he warned. He criticized the Delhi police and officials for their attempts to prevent the gathering, saying, “They removed chairs from the venue. When the people of Delhi change the government, no one will save their seats.”
AAP leader Isudan Gadhvi emphasized Kejriwal’s integrity, stating that the entire nation is eagerly watching the developments at Jantar Mantar. He noted that the AAP’s momentum is growing across the country, gaining public support and trust.
Atishi, another AAP leader, spoke to the media about the BJP’s conspiracies against Kejriwal and the party. “The entire nation has witnessed these injustices, which extend beyond just Kejriwal and AAP. The people of Delhi are also suffering. Kejriwal will raise Delhi’s issues during this gathering,” she stated.
