Bhopal, Mar 27 : In the biggest operation of its kind ever in Madhya Pradesh, city police arrested a whopping 511 criminals within the space of a mere six-and-a-half hours by executing simultaneous surprise combing patrols during the intervening night – an achievement that earned accolades from Home Minister and government spokesman Narottam Mishra. “The commissioner system is rapidly emerging as a paradigm of an effective curb against crime in the state.
