Mumbai, April 10: Actor Vindu Dara Singh has expressed support for the Women’s Reservation Bill, calling it a positive step. He emphasized that women deserve the rights that are rightfully theirs. For years, women have been sidelined, and now they should have the freedom to advance and realize their full potential.
Commenting on Prime Minister Modi’s article regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, BJP leader and former Union Minister Kaushal Kishore stated that the Prime Minister had previously introduced this bill in Parliament to ensure women’s representation. With 33% reservation, seats will be allocated accordingly, reserving 33% of Lok Sabha seats for women.
In response to Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks, Kishore noted that the opposition seems unclear about their stance. He pointed out that conflicts are occurring in Iran, America, and Israel, while India seeks peace. He highlighted that India’s role in maintaining global peace has been commendable, with the world recognizing India’s foreign policy as one of the best.
Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde discussed PM Modi’s article on the Women’s Reservation Bill, stating that under Modi’s leadership, the bill has already been passed. The delimitation process and the Women’s Reservation Bill are progressing together. Efforts to secure 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha have been ongoing for years, but no party or government had taken action until now.
BJP MP Jagdambika Pal remarked that this is undoubtedly a historic change that will empower women. Prime Minister Modi has consistently advocated for women’s empowerment and encouraged daughters to pursue education and progress.
