West Bengal Set to Embrace Development Under Modis Leadership: Brajesh Pathak

Lucknow, May 8: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has labeled the INDIA bloc as disheartened and frustrated. He stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, West Bengal is poised to join the mainstream of development. The people of Bengal will have a new Chief Minister on May 9.

In a conversation in Lucknow, Pathak expressed that leaders from the Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, and Congress are all completely disillusioned. He emphasized that West Bengal will advance on the path of development under the guidance of the world’s most popular leader, Prime Minister Modi. He noted that Bengal, which lagged behind since independence, will now be integrated into the mainstream. Improvements in infrastructure and law and order are expected, fulfilling Bengal’s commitment to a developed India.

Pathak urged residents to complete the first phase of the census process promptly by filling out online or physical forms. This will ensure that subsequent constitutional tasks can be completed on time. He mentioned that he has personally filled out the online census form today and that a caste census will follow the building census.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya remarked that people have been waiting for the building census for a long time. He clarified that this is not a census of individuals but rather a count of buildings. He welcomed the inclusion of a caste census in the upcoming enumeration.

Regarding the swearing-in of the new government in Bengal, Maurya stated that May 9 will be a historic day for the state. He reflected on the BJP’s rise in Bengal since the party formed a government at the center in 2014 and gained a majority in Uttar Pradesh, attributing this success to the support of the people.

On the meeting between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Mamata Banerjee, Maurya suggested that Yadav should seek medical treatment, implying that Banerjee is not resigning and that Yadav’s interactions with various opposition leaders reflect his despair. He concluded that Yadav’s unrealistic dreams will never materialize, predicting that he will have to return to Saifai in 2027.
