Udaipur (Daily Kiran): Just ahead of its official launch on October 13, Vivo has unveiled hands-on images and official camera samples of its upcoming flagship — the Vivo X300 Pro. The new device, part of the X300 series that also includes the standard X300, is set to go on sale from October 17.

Refined Design with Zeiss Optics

The Vivo X300 Pro retains the familiar circular camera island with Zeiss branding, similar to the X200 Pro, but introduces a few design refinements. The flash module is positioned outside the main camera housing, while the rear panel now features a flat matte glass finish, replacing the curved edges seen on its predecessor. The frame has flat sides with soft corners, giving it a more boxy and premium aesthetic.

200MP Telephoto and Upgraded Sensors

One of the biggest highlights of the X300 Pro is its 200MP ISOCELL HPB periscope telephoto camera, featuring an 85mm focal length and 1/1.4-inch sensor size. Vivo has shared telephoto image samples that demonstrate sharp detail and color accuracy, emphasizing the device’s long-range imaging capabilities.

The main camera employs the Sony LYT-828 sensor, an upgrade over the LYT-818 used in the previous model, while retaining the same 1/1.28-inch sensor size.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood, the X300 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, coupled with a 6,510mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging — a notable step up from the Dimensity 9400 and 6,000mAh setup in the X200 Pro.

To boost imaging performance, Vivo has equipped the device with dual image processing chips — VS1 for pre-processing and V3 for post-processing.

Display and Build

The smartphone is expected to sport a 1.5K 120Hz BOE Q10+ AMOLED display with ultra-thin 1.1mm equilateral bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience.

With these upgrades, the Vivo X300 Pro is shaping up to be a flagship photography powerhouse, blending high-end performance with refined aesthetics.
