The Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2026 is one of India’s most esteemed awards celebrating glamour and excellence, honoring personalities from the entertainment, business, and fashion industries.

Though Jethwa began his career on television, he is now regarded as one of Bollywood’s promising actors. He started with the TV series ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’ and gained recognition for his role as the villain (Sunny) in ‘Mardaani 2’ in 2019. He has also appeared in films like ‘Salaam Venky’ and ‘Tiger 3’, but it was ‘Homebound’ that truly elevated his popularity.

‘Homebound’ was shortlisted among the top 15 films but did not make it to the final five. Nevertheless, it gained significant global acclaim, having been showcased at the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received a standing ovation.

Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, ‘Homebound’ stars Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film tells the story of two childhood friends who aspire to become police officers. Shoaib (Ishaan) and Chandan (Vishal) come from Muslim and Dalit communities, respectively, and face numerous challenges due to poverty and caste discrimination while pursuing their dreams of government jobs.
