Viniet Kumar Singh Reflects on ‘Mukkabaaz’ Impact Eight Years Later

Mumbai, 12 January – Actor Vineet Kumar Singh, who began his lead role career with Anurag Kashyap’s sports drama film ‘Mukkabaaz’, recently marked the eighth anniversary of the movie’s release. Sharing his journey on social media, Vineet reflected on how the film changed his professional path and boosted his confidence.

In his post, Vineet expressed, “’Mukkabaaz’ not only made me an actor but also taught me the importance of believing in myself and my story. Every person has a unique voice and potential, and trusting that can bring change in one’s time and circumstances.”

He added that the film opened new doors in his career and gave him the wings of self-confidence. Vineet credited ‘Mukkabaaz’ as the foundation for his later works, including ‘Chhawa’ and ‘Superboys of Malegaon’. According to him, “My identity, place in films, and success all trace back to ‘Mukkabaaz’. This film helped establish me as an actor and showed me that faith in one’s inner voice and story is an artist’s true strength.”

Vineet also expressed gratitude to everyone who believed in him and the film, including those who waited patiently and made the film their own. He acknowledged the support, love, and guidance from friends and colleagues, even those who could not stand with him professionally. “Today, ‘Mukkabaaz’ completes eight years, and it feels very special,” he said.
