Lucknow, May 15: In a landmark ruling, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has declared the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex as a temple. Padma Bhushan Sadhvi Ritambhara expressed her joy in an interview, stating that “truth has triumphed” and congratulated the Sanatan community.
Sadhvi Ritambhara emphasized that anyone visiting the site will recognize it as a Hindu temple. “We have regained Bhojshala. Soon, the idol of Goddess Saraswati will be returned and installed there,” she added.
Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti commented on the Bhojshala issue, noting that invaders had seized religious sites during the period of subjugation. She praised the court’s favorable decision, thanking the judiciary and lawyers for their efforts. “Good judgments awaken the nation’s pride. We are confident that Goddess Saraswati will return, and the government will comply with the court’s order,” she stated.
Vedic scholar Acharya Ramswaroop Maharaj expressed support for the court’s ruling, affirming that the site is indeed a temple. “Every stone there speaks of its history. The inscriptions on the stones date back to that time,” he remarked, thanking the court for its decision.
Alok Kumar, International Working President of VHP, called the ruling a significant victory. He noted that the court followed due process before delivering the verdict, allowing Hindus to worship continuously at the site. “All parties were given an opportunity to discuss the matter in detail. After hearing everyone, both judges visited the structure. Following the complete process, they concluded that the Bhojshala in Dhar is the site of the Vagdevi Saraswati Temple,” he explained.
Kumar also highlighted that the court considered Muslim sentiments, advising them to seek alternative land for the mosque from the government. “Justice has been served to both parties,” he concluded.
