Previously, the Vande Bharat Express covered 459 km between Meerut City and Lucknow. With the new extension, the train will now cover 783 km up to Varanasi, operating daily.

  • Train Numbers: 22490/22489

  • Meerut City Departure: 6:35 am

  • Lucknow Arrival: 1:45 pm (via Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly)

  • Ayodhya Dham Junction Arrival: 3:53 pm

  • Varanasi Junction Arrival: 6:25 pm

For the return journey:

  • Varanasi Departure: 9:10 am

  • Ayodhya Arrival: 11:40 am

  • Lucknow Arrival: 1:40 pm

  • Meerut City Arrival: 9:05 pm (via Bareilly, Moradabad, Hapur)

The train covers the full journey in approximately 12 hours.
