Lucknow, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : On October 31, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Brajesh Pathak, made a significant announcement in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary. The state government has launched the “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Skill Development Program,” aimed at equipping youth with essential skills. Pathak expressed his hopes that the program would connect young people across the state with skill development opportunities, leading to employment through company placements. He emphasized that a true tribute to Sardar Patel lies in the youth’s commitment to contribute to a developed India, reinforcing the nation’s unity and integrity.
In his remarks, Pathak criticized the opposition parties, particularly the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, suggesting they lack substantive issues and are merely engaging in protests for media attention. He stated that while Prime Minister Modi is focused on building a developed India, the opposition is fixated on negativity. He urged them to engage directly with the public as the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections approach.
Pathak asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win a decisive majority in the upcoming elections, as the people of Uttar Pradesh have resolved to eliminate crime and corruption from the state.
Additionally, former Maharashtra minister and BJP MLC Pariney Phuke weighed in on the political discourse, criticizing Rahul Gandhi’s calls for impeachment. He argued that Gandhi’s actions undermine constitutional institutions and aim to erode public trust in them. Phuke highlighted a recent World Bank report indicating that 506 million people have risen above the poverty line, attributing this progress to the BJP-led government under Modi’s leadership.
He concluded that the government’s focus on inclusive policies has successfully reached the most impoverished citizens, a testament to the effectiveness of the nationalist agenda. Phuke described the World Bank’s findings as a strong rebuttal to Gandhi’s criticisms.
