US Military Campaign Against Iran Claims Over 2000 Targets

Washington, March 5: The United States has announced that its military operations against Iran have targeted over 2,000 locations, significantly weakening Tehran’s missile and naval capabilities. The White House defended President Donald Trump’s decision to initiate Operation Epic Fury.

White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt stated that the campaign, which began last weekend, aims to eliminate the missile threat from Iran, destroy its naval capacity, and prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Levitt told reporters at the White House, “Under President Trump’s leadership, the terrorist regime in Iran is being thoroughly crushed. The U.S. has conducted attacks on over 2,000 sites, destroying hundreds of ballistic missiles, launchers, and drones.”

The operation has already incapacitated Iran’s ability to threaten U.S. forces and allies in the region. “It is safe to say that Operation Epic Fury has been entirely successful so far,” she added.

The White House also reported that U.S. forces inflicted heavy damage on Iran’s naval fleet. “On Tuesday night, the U.S. used torpedoes to destroy over 20 Iranian vessels, including Iran’s most advanced submarine.”

Levitt noted that Iranian naval activity in major regional waterways has nearly ceased, with no Iranian ships present in the Strait of Hormuz or the Gulf of Oman.

The military campaign has four main objectives: to destroy Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities, damage its navy, weaken regional proxy networks, and prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Since the operation began, there has been a significant reduction in Iranian missile attacks, with an 86% decrease in ballistic missile launches compared to the initial days of the campaign.

The White House indicated that senior Iranian leadership has been heavily targeted, with over 49 top leaders, including Supreme Leader Khamenei, eliminated.

Levitt described the elimination of Iranian leaders as essential for the protection of the U.S. and its allies, stating, “There is no doubt that killing these brutal terrorists is beneficial for America and has made the world a much safer place.”

During the campaign, six American soldiers lost their lives. Levitt expressed the government’s condolences for the fallen soldiers, and President Trump plans to attend their honorable funeral services.

She also mentioned that since the start of Operation Epic Fury, over 17,500 Americans have safely returned home from the Middle East.
