
New Delhi, April 27: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced recruitment for various positions, including Assistant Keeper, across 16 roles. The last date to apply is set for May 1. Candidates must be between 30 to 35 years of age, depending on the position.

The UPSC is inviting applications for 16 positions, which include 1 Assistant Keeper, 7 Senior Store Officer Grade-II, and 8 Livestock Officer roles.
The online application process began on Saturday, April 11, and will close on May 1. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official UPSC website within the specified timeframe.
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Anthropology from a recognized institution, along with a diploma in Museology, or a Master’s degree in Economics/Commerce/Statistics/Business Studies/Public Administration, or a graduation degree in the aforementioned subjects with a diploma in Material Management. Additionally, candidates should possess a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, along with registration with the Veterinary Council. Other eligibility criteria and required years of experience also apply.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set between 30 to 35 years, calculated as of May 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting, personal interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Level-07 to Level-10 in the pay matrix, depending on the position.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹25 for UR/OBC/EWS male candidates. Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and disabled candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official UPSC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form. Finally, print out the registration form for future reference.
