Ghazipur (UP), April 10 : Tightening its noose around mafia-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, the local administration on Sunday seized his ‘benami’ property in Mahuabagh. Circle Officer (Sadar) Ojaswi Chawla said that on the basis of the police report District Magistrate MP Singh directed to seize the plot, registered in the name of Mukhtar’s mother Rabiya Khatoon, under the Gangster Act. He said, “The plot which has an area of 1,111 square meter in worth Rs 3.50 crore in the market.” XC AB GNK 1601
