London, March 6 : UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has released a six-point plan on how the international comm ty should resolve the Ukraine-Russia conflict as President Vladimir Putin must be defeated. In an article in The New York Times, the PM said, “Putin must fail and must be seen to fail in this act of aggression. It is not enough to express our support for the rules-based international order – we must defend it against a sustained attempt to rewrite the rules by military force. “The world is watching. It is not future historians but the people of Ukraine who will be our judge.” He also launched a six-point plan on how to resolve the crisis, including humanitarian and military support, economic sanctions, a need for “rapid campaign to strengthen security and resilience” among NATO countries and diplomatic resolutions to the war but “only with the full participation of Ukraine’s legitimate government”. The Prime Minister is expected to deliver his message at meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at Downing Street on Monday, BBC reported. On Tuesday, he will be hosting leaders of the V4 group of central European nations: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. RNJ
