Candidates can amend their UGC-NET applications until November 4, with exam details set to be released on November 23.

New Delhi, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates for the UGC-NET December 2026 exam can make corrections to their online application forms. The correction window opened on November 2 and will remain accessible until November 4, 2026, at 11:50 PM.
So far, 975,505 candidates have paid the application fee for the UGC-NET exam. The exams are scheduled to take place from December 14 to 18, and again on December 21, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly review all the information in their applications during the correction period and rectify any errors before the deadline.
After November 4 at 11:50 PM, no further corrections will be allowed. According to the NTA’s schedule, details regarding the examination centers will be released on November 23, 2026. Admission cards will be available from December 7. The subject-wise exam schedule will also be announced shortly.
The NTA advises candidates to verify their names, birth dates, categories, educational qualifications, and other essential details against their official documents. This precaution is to avoid any issues in the subsequent stages of the examination process.
Candidates should ensure that all changes made during the correction period are accurate and based on verified information. The NTA also recommends that candidates keep track of all important exam dates and rely solely on updates from the official website for any new information. Once the subject-wise exam schedule is released, candidates will be able to view their specific exam dates and other critical details.
