Trump Claims Irans Navy is Defeated, No Leaders Left to Negotiate

Washington, March 20: Amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran, President Donald Trump made a significant claim on Friday. During a ceremony at the White House, Trump stated that following U.S. military actions, Iran’s navy has been completely destroyed, with its ships now resting on the ocean floor.

Speaking at the Commander-in-Chief Trophy presentation in the East Room, Trump began his remarks with a bold assertion regarding the ongoing conflict. “We are doing very well in Iran. Two weeks ago, they had a navy; now they have no navy at all. All their ships are at the bottom of the sea, and 58 vessels were destroyed in just two days,” he said.

He claimed that U.S. forces faced minimal resistance during the operations. “We have the best navy in the world. There is no comparison,” Trump emphasized.

The President reiterated that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons remains a primary goal of U.S. policy. “We will not allow them to have nuclear weapons because if they do, they will use them, and we cannot let that happen,” he stated.

He remarked that previous presidents should have taken action much earlier. Trump described the scale of military operations as unprecedented, asserting that Iran’s capabilities in various sectors have been decimated. “Their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft systems are gone, everything is finished, their radar is gone, and their leaders are also gone,” he said.

He indicated that, as a result of this situation, Iran lacks any functional leadership structure. “We want to talk to them, but there is no one to talk to,” Trump added.

The President also praised senior defense officials involved in the campaign. He commended Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for his outstanding work and highlighted the achievements of Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Ken, stating they are doing an exceptional job like never seen before.

Trump congratulated the team for their 11-2 record and victory over the Army, calling this season “one to remember for ages.” He also mentioned inviting the players to the Oval Office to award them medals.

During the event, Trump signed an executive order reserving the second Saturday in December specifically for the Army-Navy football game. “No other football will be played. Only this match will be played,” he declared.

He added, “We might have to face lawsuits over this, but we win those lawsuits.”

The President briefly touched on domestic issues, including media criticism and his support for banning transgender athletes in women’s sports. He linked the team’s success to military service, noting that graduating players will soon become officers. “We have the best military in the world,” he concluded.
