Ghaziabad, March 22: The Modinagar railway station in Uttar Pradesh has undergone a remarkable transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This upgrade has equipped the station with modern amenities, providing passengers with a significantly improved and comfortable travel experience.

As part of this ambitious initiative, over 1,300 railway stations across the country are being rapidly modernized. Modinagar station is one of the latest to receive this enhancement.

The station now features a modern building, a spacious circulating area, comfortable waiting rooms, and a new foot overbridge. The ticket counter has been organized to ensure that passengers can purchase tickets without any hassle. Clean restrooms and improved sanitation have also been prioritized, ensuring a tidy environment for travelers.

Local residents have expressed that the station previously lacked seating and basic facilities, but the situation has dramatically changed. The new upgrades have brought significant relief to passengers, enhancing their overall experience at the station.

Travelers have praised the improvements. One passenger named Krish remarked, “The facilities at Modinagar station have improved significantly. There has been a major change here, and everything is well organized now.”

Another traveler, Amit, noted, “There is now a lift at the station. Many trains that previously did not stop here will now do so. The ticket counter has been newly constructed, and cleanliness has greatly improved. Additionally, waiting room facilities are now available.”

Another passenger, Mahatma Beni Das, commented, “This used to be a small platform, but it has now become a beautiful station. Special attention has been given to cleanliness here.”
