
Bhopal, May 30: A tragic incident occurred in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday night. A tractor trolley carrying devotees overturned on a bridge, resulting in the deaths of six individuals. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his sorrow over the incident and announced financial assistance for the injured and the families of the deceased.
According to reports, residents of Ginjari village had traveled to the Tivni forest for a religious ceremony with their families. After the rituals, they were returning home when the trolley lost control and overturned on the bridge. The villagers fell approximately ten feet when the accident occurred, with over 50 people aboard the tractor trolley at that time.
The accident resulted in six fatalities, and more than 20 individuals sustained serious injuries. The injured were transported to Pali Hospital with the help of 108 ambulances. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his condolences, stating that the news of the tragic road accident involving the tractor trolley carrying devotees to a temple in Bijoura village, Pushprajgarh, is deeply saddening. He extended his sympathies to the grieving families.
The state government has instructed that families of the deceased receive financial assistance of four lakh rupees each, and treatment for the injured is ongoing. Chief Minister Yadav prayed to Baba Mahakal for peace for the departed souls and a swift recovery for the injured.
