TNCA Announces Probable Players for 2026-27 Domestic Season

New Delhi, August 25: The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has revealed its list of probable players for the upcoming 2026-27 domestic cricket season. This includes selections for the senior men’s Ranji Trophy and the Under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy.

A total of 30 players have been selected for the Ranji Trophy camp, while 25 players are on the list for the CK Nayudu Trophy. Both age groups will also feature a separate group of ‘Development Fast Bowlers.’ This initiative aims to provide promising fast bowlers with a high-performance environment and the opportunity to train alongside the state’s potential players.

Incorporating these players is part of TNCA’s effort to create a robust platform for emerging talents and to build a larger pool of fast bowlers who can represent Tamil Nadu across various age groups.

The announced list for the Ranji Trophy includes several notable names. Experienced players such as N. Jagadeesan, B. Sai Sudharsan, Baba Indrajith, Washington Sundar, and R. Sai Kishore have been included. Additionally, a separate ‘Ranji Development Squad’ has been announced, featuring players like S. Rajalingam and M. Ashwin.
