Tiger Shroff Receives Police Protection After Shooting Incident
Following a shooting incident, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has been granted police protection amid ongoing investigations into the attack.

Mumbai, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has been placed under police protection following a shooting incident aimed at him. Sources indicate that prior to the attack, he had no security measures in place, making him an easy target for the Bishnoi gang.
According to police, the gang’s motive appears to be instilling fear and extortion, similar to previous incidents. Investigations are ongoing to confirm these findings. In response to the threat, the Mumbai police’s protection branch has assigned several bodyguards to Shroff, along with an officer and additional police personnel from a local station. However, the specifics of his security arrangements remain unclear.
On Monday, three suspected shooters were detained while traveling on a train at the Kota railway station in Rajasthan, suspected of involvement in the attack on Shroff. This operation was a collaborative effort between the Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Kota city police. Among the detained suspects, one is a minor.
One of the suspects has been identified as Hrithik Kumar, also known as Roshan, a 22-year-old from Pipra village in Begusarai, Bihar. He currently resides near an Urdu school in Andheri West, Mumbai, working as a bike rider. Another suspect, 18-year-old Rehan from Sonipat, Haryana, has also been identified, while the third suspect is a minor.
Investigators are currently examining the backgrounds of these suspects as part of the ongoing inquiry into the attack on Shroff. In a related development, Sonipat police have interrogated Samir, a friend of Rehan, to gather more information about the case. Both Samir and Rehan had previously been incarcerated together for a matter involving illegal firearms.
Police officials clarified that Samir was detained solely for questioning and has not been formally arrested. Additionally, the three suspects are expected to be transported to Mumbai for further investigation.
The shooting incident occurred on Sunday when Shroff was returning from a football match. As he left the field, three assailants on motorcycles opened fire at his vehicle near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu. Fortunately, Shroff was unharmed, but his driver and one other individual sustained injuries in the attack.
