Tiger Shroff Injured in Shooting Incident in Mumbai, Meets Deputy CM Eknath Shinde

Actor Tiger Shroff was injured in a shooting in Mumbai. Deputy CM Eknath Shinde visited him, emphasizing the need for safety in the city.

Mumbai, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : In a shocking incident in Mumbai, actor Tiger Shroff was injured during a shooting attack on Sunday evening. The attack left Shroff and his driver, Firdaus, among others, wounded. Fortunately, Shroff’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Following the incident, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Shroff to check on his condition. Photographs from their meeting show Shroff with bandages on his chest and left arm, indicating the seriousness of his injuries.

Shinde described the shooting as “extremely unfortunate and serious,” noting that around five shots were fired during the attack. He expressed relief that Shroff survived, while also condemning the act of violence. “Tiger’s family, especially his mother, is understandably very concerned about why someone would target him, given that he has no known enemies,” he stated.

Reports suggest that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack. In response, Shinde assured that any gang involved would face strict action. “This is Mumbai. We will not allow any gang wars to resurface here. The police and government are committed to maintaining order,” he added.

Shinde has already discussed the matter with the police commissioner and Shroff. The Mumbai police have formed several teams to track down the assailants, promising swift action against those responsible.

Supriya Sule, a member of the Nationalist Congress Party, also commented on the shooting, highlighting the growing trend of gun violence in the state. “It’s alarming that criminals are operating without fear of the law. While we are thankful that Shroff is safe, the situation is dire for many others,” she wrote on social media.

The All Indian Cine Workers Association expressed their deep concern as well, questioning how an average citizen can feel safe when a celebrity is targeted in broad daylight.

The shooting occurred when three individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on Shroff’s car in Juhu. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed the police commissioner to conduct an immediate investigation and ensure strict action against those responsible.

Shroff’s driver is currently hospitalized at Nanavati Hospital, while another injured individual, Umesh Chavhan, has been transferred to KEM Hospital for more advanced care due to his serious injuries.
