Mumbai Police Heighten VIP Security Following Tiger Shroff Shooting Incident
In response to a shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff, Mumbai police have increased security for VIPs, pledging swift action against the perpetrators.
Mumbai, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : Following a shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, Mumbai police have ramped up security for VIPs and celebrities in the city. The increase in protective measures is particularly focused on the Juhu area, where Shroff’s vehicle was targeted.
Police sources revealed that this heightened security comes in light of a previous shooting incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence, which occurred a few months ago. In response to the recent attack on Shroff, law enforcement has intensified investigations and formed multiple teams to track down the assailants.
Maharashtra government minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha took to social media platform X to express his outrage. He stated, “The incident involving the shooting at Tiger Shroff is shocking. The police have commenced an investigation, and after discussions with Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, I have received detailed updates. The culprits will not be spared and will face appropriate punishment.”
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde condemned the attack, calling it alarming and unacceptable. He noted, “I have spoken with both the police commissioner and Tiger Shroff. The police have formed several teams to apprehend those responsible for this shooting. We will ensure that the perpetrators are caught and dealt with decisively.”
Central Minister Piyush Goyal also assured that the police would take swift action to apprehend the suspects and enforce strict measures against them.
Fortunately, reports indicate that Tiger Shroff was unharmed in the incident, although his vehicle sustained gunfire. Over the past few months, several notable figures, including Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Rohit Shetty, have also faced similar threats.
