Ten Soldiers Injured in Projectile Attack on Military Camp in Kuwait

Kuwait City, March 30: An official military statement from Kuwait revealed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted several aerial threats in the last 24 hours. However, a projectile attack on a military camp resulted in injuries to ten soldiers.

According to a statement posted on the social media platform ‘X’, defense units detected and shot down 14 enemy ballistic missiles and 12 drones.

Despite these defensive measures, multiple projectiles struck a military camp, injuring ten personnel, who have since been transported to medical centers for treatment. The attack caused significant damage at the site.

Additionally, a private logistics company’s warehouses were targeted during the assaults, leading to property damage, although no casualties were reported.

Officials reiterated that Kuwait’s air defense system remains on high alert and is fully prepared to confront any further threats.

They urged the public to rely solely on official sources for accurate information and to adhere to security directives issued by relevant authorities.

No immediate details were available regarding the source of the attacks. This incident occurred amid heightened tensions in the region following the commencement of joint U.S.-Israeli strikes last month.

The Kuwaiti Defense Ministry stated that the attack on the military camp injured ten soldiers, as Iran continues its actions in response to U.S.-Israeli operations in the region.

Colonel Saud Abdul Aziz Al-Athwan, a spokesperson for the Defense Ministry, confirmed that in the past 24 hours, armed forces detected 14 ballistic missiles and 12 enemy drones in Kuwaiti airspace, during which the military camp was attacked, resulting in injuries to ten soldiers.
