Patna, August 24: Minister Ratnesh Sada has accused Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in Bihar, of attempting to mislead the public. This statement comes in light of recent protests involving students and concerns over a breach in the embankment in Bhagalpur.
Minister Sada expressed his worries about the damage to the Ganga River embankment, stating, “This is the flood season. Our government and the Water Resources Department are closely monitoring the situation. With the dam breach, it is natural for water to flow into lower areas. We are assessing the damage, and our SDRF team is on-site to manage any issues.”
Regarding the flood situation, Sada mentioned, “We will hold a meeting with the Principal Secretary and the commanders of SDRF and NDRF. While returning from Saharsa yesterday, we observed a strong current. Therefore, we informed everyone last night that a meeting would take place today to determine further action. We will arrange for boats, dry rations, polythene, animal feed, medicines, and community kitchens wherever needed.”
Commenting on Tejashwi Yadav’s participation in student protests, Sada remarked, “They have no work. When it comes to raising public issues in the assembly, they are often absent. They prefer to travel to places like Switzerland and Goa. Once the assembly session ends, they attempt to mislead the public. However, the people of Bihar will not fall for their tactics.”
On Rahul Gandhi’s advocacy for students and women, the minister stated, “Before him, there were his grandfather, grandmother, and father. Why didn’t they accomplish what PM Narendra Modi has achieved? Now he wants to take credit for it. Nothing will come of this.”
