Aurangabad / Mumbai, Mar 26 : Maharashtra NCP chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Saturday targeted the BJP-led central government for the continuous hike in prices of fuel in last five days and asked where are the ‘Achche Din’ as promised by (Narendra) Modi during the 2014 elections. The Modi government, which had promised ‘Acche Din’ to the entire country during the 2014 elections, has in fact brought a huge financial crisis for the people of the country with the hike in prices of petrol-diesel and cooking gas cylinders, he said in a press statement. He alleged that the BJP-led central government has a policy of passing the burden of fuel price hike onto the people instead of bearing it. Despite the fact that inflation has reached an eight-month high, the Modi government was not making any effort to provide relief to the people, he said and noted that it was not hidden from the people today. Tapase also targeted the BJP government over its Finance Minister discussing the issues like the Kashmir File during the budget session of parliament, saying that it indicates where the government’s focus is.
