Chandigarh, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is on an official visit to Singapore from October 4 to 6. This information was shared via the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on its official social media account.
During his trip, Saini will participate in various events organized under the Singapore India Network for Growth (SING). The visit aims to explore Singapore’s modern infrastructure and cutting-edge technology. Renowned for its urban planning and smart city models, Singapore serves as a benchmark for Haryana as it seeks to implement similar initiatives.
As part of the agenda, the Chief Minister will attend a dinner hosted by the Singapore Business Forum, where he will meet representatives from various countries, investors, and industry leaders. Discussions will focus on investment opportunities and industrial growth in Haryana, emphasizing the state’s goal of attracting foreign investment and creating new job opportunities for youth.
A significant aspect of the trip involves the proposed jungle safari project in Haryana. Saini plans to review the Singapore Safari in the evening, which is known for its successful night and river safari models. The Haryana government is working on plans to establish the world’s largest jungle safari across approximately 10,000 acres in the Aravalli region near Gurugram and Nuh. The Chief Minister intends to study these models to incorporate them into Haryana’s project.
The SING forum plays a crucial role in enhancing economic, cultural, and technical cooperation between India and Singapore. Haryana’s participation is expected to strengthen its position on the global investment map.
