We have been playing good cricket over the past two years, and we want to continue those good habits we developed during the 2024 World Cup. The players embraced it very well.”
Regarding maintaining trust in his players, Captain Surya emphasized, “It is crucial to understand what players are capable of. I knew they had the potential to win matches. They delivered at the right time. Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma are exceptional players, and we knew they would do something special, and they did just that in the final.”
