
New Delhi, March 16: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth preparing for government jobs. The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has officially announced the recruitment of a total of 1,060 positions for Constables and Head Constables. The notification was released on Monday.
The online application process will commence on March 21, with the last date for submission set for April 20. Eligible candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official website once the application link is activated.
The recruitment includes 827 positions for Constables and 233 for Head Constables. Candidates must possess a certificate of completion for 10th and 12th grades from a recognized institution or board, along with meeting other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 27 years. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
When applying, candidates must pay the application fee online, which is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempt from the application fee.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a series of assessments, including a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), written examination, skill/typing test, document verification, and detailed medical examination. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹81,100, depending on the position.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official SSC website. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the active application link related to the announced positions. Following this, they need to register and log in. All required information must be filled in the application form, and documents should be uploaded in the correct size. After paying the application fee, candidates should review their form and submit it. Finally, it is advisable to print a copy of the application form for future reference.
