Dehradun, May 7: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that Somnath represents India’s eternal culture, faith, and indomitable spirit. Despite thousands of years of history and numerous invasions, Somnath continues to convey to the world that the strength of Indian culture and spiritual consciousness is unbreakable and immortal.
CM Dhami announced that the ’75 Years of Heritage’ event, scheduled from May 8 to 11 at the Somnath temple complex, is not merely a religious gathering. It celebrates India’s cultural consciousness, national pride, and spiritual heritage. This event will serve as a vital medium to pass on the country’s rich traditions and eternal values to the younger generation.
He emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, efforts to preserve, enhance, and revive the nation’s spiritual and cultural heritage are progressing with renewed energy and commitment. The grand development of various religious sites, including Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Lok, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, stands as evidence of India’s cultural renaissance.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that such events will help the new generation connect with their roots, traditions, and the values of Indian civilization. Furthermore, these initiatives are strengthening cultural unity, patriotism, and spiritual awareness among the citizens.
He believes that this special event associated with Somnath will further establish India’s eternal traditions and cultural pride on the global stage.
