Actor Siddhant Issar is set to debut in the suspense thriller Lohitaksh, receiving blessings from his father, veteran actor Puneet Issar.

New Delhi, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : Actor Siddhant Issar is preparing to make his film debut with the upcoming suspense thriller ‘Lohitaksh.’ The film promises to weave mystery and tension, and during the promotional events, Siddhant received heartfelt blessings from his father, renowned actor Puneet Issar.
Puneet Issar expressed his pride in his son, stating, “As a father, I just want to bless him. He has his own path and journey in life. This is his first step, and he will continue to move forward gradually.” He highlighted Siddhant’s extensive experience in theater over the past seven to eight years, including a performance in a play based on the Mahabharata, where he portrayed Duryodhana. Puneet also mentioned Siddhant’s role in another play, ‘Jai Shree Ram,’ where he plays Lord Rama.
Siddhant shared insights about the film, revealing that ‘Lohitaksh’ is derived from a Sanskrit term meaning “one whose eyes are like blood.” He elaborated, “I will be playing both a negative and a positive role. There’s a 12-minute non-stop scene that I perform, which is a first for Indian and global screens.”
The film also features Kamlesh Tukaram Sawant, known for his role in ‘Drishyam.’ Siddhant noted, “Kamlesh is quite popular these days due to ‘Drishyam,’ and he plays a police officer in this film as well. While I’ve acted in several TV series and even won an IT award, this is my first film role. It’s a suspense thriller and mystery, and I can’t reveal too much, as it might spoil the story.”
Director Bhupendra Singh praised Siddhant, stating he saw the essence of a hero in him. He remarked, “I found a global story that I felt could reach beyond Odisha. After seeing his photo, I decided he would be my hero. Siddhant had everything I was looking for. The story is such that it will seem straightforward at first, but it will twist further along. We focused on the script for a long time. Anyone who enjoys thrillers, suspense, and murder mysteries will find this film very appealing.”
