Mumbai, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Leaders from the Shiv Sena, Shaina NC and Manisha Koyande, have voiced their opinions regarding the recent protests organized by the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP) in Mumbai.
In an interview, Shaina NC stated, “The government’s stance is clear. People can protest, but they must seek permission. If individuals protest without authorization and disturb others, the police have the right to maintain law and order. Everyone has the right to protest, but no one has the right to incite riots. The CJP, which is trying to assert its presence, must understand that people recognize it as the ‘Congress People’s Party’ and believe it has no valid issues.”
Shaina further emphasized that Mahatma Gandhi once said that the path of truth does not involve breaking the law. She stressed that adhering to the law is a moral responsibility. Those who politically oppose the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner should realize that disrespecting Gandhi is also an affront, as the government is committed to upholding law and order.
She added that if protests occur without permission and create a riotous atmosphere, the police will need to take action. “This cannot be allowed to continue unchecked,” she warned.
Manisha Koyande, another Shiv Sena leader and Member of the Legislative Council, remarked, “Those who have no connection to this country, its soil, its people, or their way of life, and who are only famous on social media, wish to create chaos in the nation.”
She pointed out individuals like Dhruv Rathee, questioning whether their sole purpose is to defame Prime Minister Modi, India, and its citizens, while also putting the police and administration in difficult positions. “They instigate protests everywhere, aiming to spread disorder and destabilize the country, which will never happen. The NDA government remains strong and has faced every challenge,” she asserted.
