Shaina NC Critiques Rahul Gandhis Allegations Against Election Commission

Shaina NC defends the Election Commission against Rahul Gandhis claims, emphasizing the importance of truth in politics.

Mumbai, September 27 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s allegations regarding the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Special Investigation Report (SIR). She dismissed the demand from the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) for the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner as unwarranted.

In an interview, Shaina stated, “Rahul Gandhi does not have an issue with the Election Commission; he has a problem with the truth. The Election Commission was working to prevent vote theft, as his political operations rely on fraudulent votes. He was supposed to bring a hydrogen bomb of allegations, but it turned out to be a dud.”

Shaina pointed out that Gandhi had claimed 6,000 votes were deleted in Aland, Karnataka, where Congress emerged victorious in 2023. She noted that before making accusations against the Chief Election Commissioner, Gandhi should understand that the commission consists of three members who collectively make decisions, unlike his family’s unilateral approach.

Addressing the SIR issue, Shaina took a jab at Gandhi, asserting that he is averse to truth, integrity, and nationalism. She remarked, “One family wants to run the country from Delhi, while across the nation, there is an atmosphere that discourages making accusations. Rahul Gandhi should stop this drama and rhetoric.”

Shaina also reiterated that the Election Commission’s decisions are made unanimously and in accordance with the law, countering the CJP’s call for the Chief Election Commissioner’s resignation. She emphasized that the demands for resignation should come from valid legal grounds, as impeachment can only occur through a Supreme Court judge or Parliament, making the calls from the CJP baseless.

Shaina concluded by urging Abhijit Dipke of the CJP to present a concrete vision plan for students instead of making unfounded demands.
