Belgrade, May 21: Ahead of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s official visit to China, a screening of Chinese documentaries was held in Belgrade.
The event was organized collaboratively by the China Media Group, Serbian National Radio and Television, the Serbian Ministry of Culture, the Serbian Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, the Serbian Embassy in China, and the Chinese Cultural Center in Belgrade.
During the occasion, Shen Haixiong, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director-General of the China Media Group, delivered a written address. He emphasized that under the strategic guidance of both heads of state, the construction of a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era has been continuously deepened and made more practical. The friendship between the peoples of both nations has stood the test of time, and cultural exchanges continue to thrive.
The joint launch of the Chinese documentary screening program is a practical measure to implement significant agreements reached by both leaders. It opens a new chapter in promoting contact between the peoples through cultural exchanges.
