Sanjay Sarawagi Praises PM Modi as Sweden Honors Him with Prestigious Award

Patna, May 18: Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he received Sweden’s highest honor. In an interview with a news agency, Sarawagi stated that PM Modi is among the most popular leaders in the world.

He noted that the Prime Minister’s unique approach to governance has earned him this prestigious recognition. This award marks the 31st international honor for PM Modi, reflecting his immense popularity across nations. Sarawagi highlighted that due to Modi’s policies, India has emerged as the fourth-largest economy globally.

Regarding the ongoing Special Identification Registration (SIR) process, Sarawagi mentioned that it is being implemented in all states. This initiative aims to remove names of infiltrators, deceased individuals, and those with duplicate entries from the voter list. Following West Bengal, other states are also beginning their SIR processes.

On the NEET paper leak issue, he criticized opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, who demanded action after the incident. He pointed out that while the exam was canceled in the interest of students and suspects are being apprehended, these leaders seem to be uncomfortable with the developments. He assured that the mastermind behind the leak would not be spared.

Responding to Arshad Madani’s statements, Sarawagi asserted that there is no politics of fear. He emphasized that anyone who considers India their home and wishes to see the country progress has nothing to fear. However, those who do not regard India as their own should interpret the situation as they wish.

In light of PM Modi’s appeal to conserve petrol and diesel amidst a global crisis, Sarawagi noted that the response has been positive. He mentioned that even the Chief Minister of Bihar is adhering to this appeal. He has written to party workers urging them to take initiatives to reduce fuel consumption, citing his recent train journey to Jamui as an example.

Regarding the recent encounter in Siwan, Sarawagi reaffirmed the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime. He stated that the police have been given full authority to act against criminals, ensuring that no offenders will be spared.
